Mysia, Cyzicus. Electrum (EL) Stater, 16.10g, struck c. 500–450 BC. Obverse: winged lion crouching left above a tunny fish, the civic badge of Cyzicus. Reverse: quadripartite incuse square. One of the great trade coins of the ancient Greek world — Cyzicene electrum staters circulated as international money across the Black Sea and Aegean for centuries.
