Byzantine Empire, Maurice Tiberius (Maurice Tiberius), AD 582–602. AV Tremissis, 1.52g, struck at Constantinople. Obverse: diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Reverse: cross potent, VICTORIA AVGG, CONOB in exergue. A lustrous Mint State example of Byzantine gold from one of the last emperors before the Heraclian dynasty. Graded NGC Ancients MS, Strike 4/5, Surface 5/5. NGC cert 6057519-038.
